Certain forms and other documents issued by the Accountancy
Board of Ohio are made available on our Web site in portable
document format. This format is useful for making generally
accurate renditions of forms and other graphics that are not
comprised solely of text. A document in this format is called
a PDF file, and has the file extension .pdf after the
file name.
A free software program called Adobe®
Acrobat® Reader is available which will read PDF
files so that they can be printed by a person accessing our
Web site. Acrobat Reader may be obtained free from the Adobe
Systems, Inc. Web site. We recommend that you use
at least version 7 of Acrobat Reader.
Any person who is blind or visually impaired and who cannot
access our PDF files with their Web browser may contact the Access Adobe Web site. That site
contains tools developed by Adobe that will enable a screen
reader to translate the PDF document into recognizable speech
by converting the text in a PDF file to HTML
format.
The tools cannot interpret scanned documents. Such documents
are graphic images and not true text-based documents. Adobe
also states that these tools are not intended to be used as
full featured PDF to HTML conversion programs.
You may also obtain a copy of the forms by calling our office
at 1-614-466-4135, sending us electronic mail, or writing us.
Our address is: Accountancy Board of Ohio, 77 South High Street,
18th Floor, Columbus, OH 43215-6128.
